When completing the online booking form, the purchaser is liable for full payment of the event fee.
Full payment must be received before place(s) can be guaranteed.
Under UK Excise Regulations delegates from all countries are required to pay VAT on any event taking place in the UK. The Energy Institute is registered in England under No. 1097899 at 61 New Cavendish Street, London W1G 7AR, UK.
In the event of cancellation of attendance by the ticket purchaser, a refund, less 20% administration charge of the total monies due, will be made provided that notice of cancellation is received in writing a month before the date of the event. No refunds will be paid, or invoices cancelled after this date.
Confirmation of registration and joining instructions will be sent to all delegates in advance of the event. If these are not received one week prior to the event please contact the EI Events team. The EI reserves the right to change and amend the speakers/presentations and timings as necessary.
If you are unable to attend an event you have registered for, as substitute delegate may attend in your place, provided the EI Events team is notified in writing in advance.
Bookings may be made online up until the day before the event. If you register online after 12 noon the day prior to the event, please arrive at the venue with your reciept as proof of registration.
Data Protection Act
The EI never sells its membership and customer information to third parties. However our members and customers will expect us to provide them with regular useful communications that might be of use to them either from EI or its specifically chosen partners.
The EI will hold your personal data on its computer database. This information may be accessed, retrieved and used by the EI and its associates for normal administrative purposes. Your data may be managed by a third party in the capacity of a list processor only and the data owner will at all times be the EI.
At the time of booking, delegates will be asked to state their marketing preferences.
All materials and information contained on the Site, except where specifically stated otherwise, together with all other elements created for the Site are the property of the Energy Institute and are governed by copyright and other applicable intellectual property laws at the time they are made available on the Site. Copies of documents contained on the Site may only be made available for information purposes and solely for the private use of the Site user. Any use or reproduction of such documents for any other purpose whatsoever is expressly forbidden without the written permission of the Energy Institute. No licence or right, other than the right to view on the Site, is granted to any person in respect of any intellectual property rights. Visitors accessing restricted files (i.e. documents available as part of a subscription or purchased from the Site) must also agree to the Licence Agreement for such content.
The corporate name, logos and devices of the Energy Institute mentioned or depicted on the Site are the property of the Energy Institute and may not be used without the prior written agreement of the Energy Institute.
The Energy Institute and Squiz Ltd do not make use of a visitor's IP address, or other session information that is automatically captured by the web server, for any purpose other than system administration and to provide statistics that are used to evaluate the use of the site.
'Cookies' are used on this Site to collect information about visits to the site. It uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. Google Analytics sets cookies in order to evaluate your use of the website and compile reports for us on activity on the site. We have also implemented Google Analytics features based on Display Advertising (Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting).
Google stores the information collected by the cookie on servers in the United States. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. How to reject this cookie
