IP Week General information

Registration fees

The registration fee for each conference or seminar includes attendance at all sessions, full conference documentation as made available by the speakers, refreshments and lunch as appropriate (please refer to the specific programme for each event). Full payment must be received before a place can be guaranteed. The booking is considered legally binding upon EI receiving your registration form (by post, fax or e-mail) and the delegate becomes liable for full payment of the event fees. No cancellations will be accepted after 15 January 2010 or invoices cancelled, each cancellation received before this date is subject to a 20% administration fee. Under UK Excise Regulations, delegates from all countries are required to pay VAT on any event taking place in the UK. Please note that VAT may be liable to amendment.

Acknowledgement of registration

  • Conferences/Seminars
    Confirmation of registration, together with joining instructions and a VAT receipt, will be sent to all delegates from January 2010 onwards. If you have not received your acknowledgement seven days prior to the date of the event, please contact the EI Events Team to confirm your booking.
  • IP Week Dinner
    Tickets will be allocated and mailed in January 2010.
  • IP Week Lunch
    Tickets will be allocated and mailed in January 2010.

Visas

Visa letters will be issued only upon receipt of payment for attending IP Week 2010. Please book early, no refunds will be given due to refusal of a visa after 15 January 2010, and any cancellation prior to this is subject to 20% administration fee.

Programme

Speakers/presentations/timings are correct at the time of going to press but the EI reserves the right to make alterations as necessary.

Language

All presentations will be given in English. Simultaneous translation will be provided into Russian at selected events taking place at One Great George Street. Please note that there will be no translation into Russian at the events taking place at The Dorchester Hotel.

Substitutions

If you are unable to attend an event you have registered for, a substitute delegate may attend in your place, provided that the EI Events Team is notified in writing in advance of the given event.

Conference proceedings

Copies of documentation, as made available by the speakers will be issued at the conferences/seminars as appropriate.

Hotel accommodation

The Energy Institute (EI) cannot accept any liability for any loss, cost or expense suffered by any person arising from reason of war, including threat of war, riots and civil strife, terrorism or threats thereof, natural disaster, weather, fire, flood, drought, technical, mechanical or electrical breakdown within any premises visited by delegates in connection with any event organized by the EI, non provision of services provided by hotel companies or transport operators, industrial disputes, governmental action, regulations, or technical problems which may affect the services provided in connection with the event. The right to exclude any delegate, guest or substitution and to reject any application for registration is reserved.
